EllisFam Interviews

I have asked for the EllisFam to do a small 8 question interview so that we may get to know one another and how The Jason Ellis Show has changed or impacted our lives. These are their reply’s, unedited and all in their own words. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, and thank you to everyone who participated. Without you all this wouldn’t be possible.

MICHAEL SORIA (@Butterballs_EM6)

  1. Where do you live? Yo yo yo check it. Dis be the 1 the only Mike Soria AKA BUTTERBALLS. Coming to you live from Cerritos California where I was raised.
  2. What is your occupation? I’m a self employed professional driver,a Transporter if you will. Like Jason Statham but I have hair and drive a van.
  3. Tell me a little about yourself. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I aint fakin I love clay aikin and teddy bears… oh wait I mean I skateboard and used to play drums in a punk band. I’m more mellow these days, until Ellismania comes around. Then I party and punch someone in De’face.
  4. How long have you listened to TJES? I’ve been listening to TJES since he was on tuesdays and thursdays I think. Pretty much since he got his own show or dj set I guess. I just remember catching the show on once in a while.
  5. How did you discover TJES? I followed Howard Stern over to satellite radio and everyday when I was done listening to his show I’d switch to Faction. Once in a while I’d hear this dude with an accent talking about chicks and skateboarding and just being funny saying whatever.
  6. What keeps you listening to TJES? Taking phone calls from idiots telling him to say “That’s not a knife”. I fuckn loved it! Once I figured out TJES had a regular schedule I found myself getting pissed every time i forget to tune in. So I set an alarm. For me TJES is the best show to listen to. It really helps me get through the workday. I liked Howard a lot but Ellis is more my style. I’m 31 yrs old. Still consider myself a Howard fan but hardly listen anymore.
  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? I feel TJES has changed the way I look at life. In a good way. Until I heard Jason telling his life experiences, I wasn’t really thinking about what I was doing. Just living day to day boring as shit. “YOU GOTTA LIVE YOUR LIFE! DO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DIE CUZ YOU AINT GETTIN IT BACK AFTER ITS GONE.” Ellis is like all my best friends in one. He was a Pro Skateboarder, I dreamed of being a Pro Skateboarder. He partied, I partied. That’s why I liked the show, because I could relate to him.
  8. Is there anything else you would like to share? I was the only volunteer that showed up to be in the DeCockathon (the dick olympics) on a Friday morning show and competed against the man himself. I lost the competition but gained some respect from the listeners and Ellis. Later that year I entered the 1st ever Musical Chairs Fight at Ellis Mania 6. I put on a show earning the name Butterballs and won the title. Since then I’ve been on the show a few times doing stupid funny shit like Disco Balls and Mexican Shock Collar Arm Wrestling with @FonzoBlunt even though I’m not Mexican. I’m Peruvian. There was one time on the show that I was grossed out and kinda felt violated. It was when Ellis lost a game and had to tongue dart my belly. I thought it was funny until I felt his tongue in my belly. I almost puked! Anyway now I’m in a movie with Ellis, Mayhem, Dingo and other awesome people.
I love the show and hope it never gets old because wtf else am I supposed to listen to. TJES IS SECOND TO NONE! PEACE OUT! DON’T DIE!

Shoutout to @bitPimps and @AZ_RedDragon
Thanks to everyone who supports the show! You guys are Awesome!

中Casey Beckman中 (@CBKAZI)

  1. Where do you live? Bend Oregon
  2. What is your occupation? I bid and draw jobs for a steel fabrication shop.
  3. Tell me a little about yourself. In the past two years my life has almost mirrored Jasons. Got divorced, had substance issues, saw ups saw downs but have come out of it stronger and better than ever before! I live everyday for my daughter Halo, who is truly a gardian angel in my eyes!
  4. How long have you listened to TJES? I have followed Jason from is hearly years in skateboarding, I use to work in a few differant skate shops. Actually listening on a daily basis has to be at least going on 4-5 years now.
  5. How did you discover TJES? Cruzin through XM and heard this crazy old skateboarder had a show…
  6. What keeps you listening to TJES? You just never know what is going to happen next!
  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? The show has done allot for my self esteem and taught me allot about being a “man” (like a stand up kinda guy)
  8. Is there anything else you would like to share? I can believe how many times I made plans to just GO to an Ellismania, and now that I finally am going, I actually get to fight! All I can say is this fight is going out to my daughter, and the fans! I’m in there swingin for all of you!

Show Re-cap For Thursday 7/12/2012

Since nobody is listening to the Ellis show then nobody is reading this. Now I finally feel free to let loose my deepest darkest secret, I once rode a Moped. Wow what a relief, I am finally free. Thanks to modern and future modern medicine we might start living until we’re about 100 years old! That’s a long fucking time, I’d rather live to 80 and never know the joys of shitting into a plastic bag. Ellis got the call that the A6K is fixed, again, and Katie is going to drive it back to LA from Vegas. Some people have been bitching about Ellis selling things like the Wolfknives, Ellismania.com, Ellismania, and other stuff. I agree, what a bunch of bull, what gives someone the right to make money where money is to be made. This is ridiculous and Unamerican. Fuck off you pompous pricks who bitch about this, next time go to your favorite sports team and bitch about the stuff they’re trying to sell you. There was a MMA fight and they talked about it, someone one. That’s all I remember. More MMA news though, Shane Carwin and Roy “Big Country” Nelson will be the coaches of next seasons The Ultimate Fighter.

EllisFam in Vegas, there will be Monsoons and for those that aren’t Desert Rats, this means rain and lightning, but you’ll be drunk and won’t give a fuck. Somebody wrote something about Swamp People being a bad show, that guy can fuck off also. Don’t bitch about something until you fully know the reasons behind it, not to mention that is a great way to look into the lives of people with a very different culture. The Wolfknifes are NOT a motorcycle club so no worries about other clubs gettin’ all up in our turf, we can just get back on our scooters and ride away.

Hey guys, Propecia will fuck up your junk, just get a hat. Tully is 35 today, so happy birthday you sarcastic fuck. Ellis brought in a giant dick cake that Tully couldn’t resist deep throating, up to the balls I heard! Rawdog bought him that book about some Burping kid who died and saw his salamander sister in heaven and then came back to life. Also for his birthday he brought us yet another new episode of Women, Am I Right? and again, I am memorized at all the crazy shit women do. Please ladies, just stop, its for your own good. One of the stories was about a middle aged lady, naked and spread eagle, passed out in her front yard. This reminds me of the time yer mum passed out naked in my yard, the grass still won’t grow in the spot where her crusty jizz catcher was, OH!

  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? My mental & physical fitness is way better: I’ve gone from 200 lbs( beer gut) to 175(firm). I’ve been fortunate enough to form A bond with ALOT of really great people who accept me for who I am.

  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? Love me some EllisFam! If it weren’t for the show, I wouldn’t have the privilege of knowing all you mother fuckers.

Show Re-cap For Wednesday 7/11/2012

Welcome to the Dog Center Re-Cap, and now fuck that shit. Ellis was a little late this afternoon but he got in and that is what counts. Ellis was late I assume because he was sparring Mayhem and he said that he is faster, stronger, and has more stamina than he has ever had in his life. As Ellis arrived he noticed that something was wrong with the console, his headphones and everything else in the studio. It would seem that Shoebox is throwing one hell of a party in there after the show ends. Some exciting news for the EllisFam that are to broke to go to Ellismania, the bikini contest on Friday will be aired live on Ellismania.com for FREE! That’s right folks, listen to scantily clad women tell you what Mr T means to them.

The worlds heaviest woman, 643 pounds, got so fat because she got dumped and started eating but when she got famous for being a tub of lard her ex-boyfriend came back. Now because he is such a chubby chaser they are bumping uglies seven times a day and she has now lost a whoppin 100 pounds. Way to go champ and thanks for taking one for the team. Mayhem came in about midway through the show and recanted his epic tale of danger and excitement from his recent camping trip to Yosemite National Park. Sometime during the trip his girlfriend managed to wander off and get lost. She ended up spending the night snuggled up to a rock in near freezing temperatures. If this chick can hang with Jason then this night in the woods was probably a walk in the park. Doc Banger made his debut on Shade 45 with Rude Jude and unfortunately if you didn’t change the channel, all you would have heard is New York screwin the pooch again. Tully called them, gave them some strong words, talked about their mommas, and BOOM the show was back just in time for the Love It or Hate It segment. Surprisingly enough, they hated it. I would love to tell you what all was said, but this is the part where I direct you to our friend, @Cobratitis, who has it here.

I want to crawl inside your butt hole and live there like a gerbil.

Daniel Tosh made some chick mad for making a joke about rape or something, apparently he didn’t yell surprise so she got all butt hurt and now he had to apologize. The biggest crime in this is that he has yet to apologize to the millions of others that he constantly rapes in the ear holes with his TV show. Shannon Gunz came into the Swing House today to get things ready for Friday and Ellis called her into the studio. After some friendly banter they started talking about the bikini contest and then asked Shannon some sample questions. The biggest shocker in this entire thing is that she doesn’t know who Mr. T is, doesn’t know at least one racist joke, was a taco slammin cookie licker in college, and she doesn’t know any “Yo Momma” jokes. Tully, Jason, and Josh really had some good ones, but do you know the true origin of the “Yo Momma” joke? They’re all about yer mum, except the one about shitting in a toilet, we all know she just shits her pants, OH!

EllisFam Interviews

These are their reply’s, unedited and all in their own words. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, and thank you to everyone who participated. Without you all this wouldn’t be possible.

Alex Reed (@shit_toboggan)

  1. Where do you live? Oakland, California.
  2. What is your occupation? Service adviser at Dana Meyer Auto Care in Albany, CA.
  3. Tell me a little about yourself. I am pretty much your average working stiff. I like tattoos, skating, loud fast angry music, slow sweet romantic music, bit of a comic collector, cars, all around good guy I suppose. Never really sure what to write when someone says “Tell me about yourself” unless I’m filling out a job application. I spend most of my time working, most recently been training three days a week for EllisMania 8. On my off time I’m also a semi-regular volunteer at 924 Gilman st, the semi-legendary punk rock club out here in the bay area.
  4. How long have you listened to TJES? I’ve been  listening to the Ellis show for about 4 1/2 years.
  5. How did you discover TJES? I discovered the show kind of by accident. I had Sirius for over a year and was starting to lose interest in Howard Stern. I would listen to music and flip through channels all day. I always thought it was weird that the action sports channel had some British guy doing an afternoon talk show, and never really stopped to hear it through, but one day I landed on Faction during a “Dude, is it gay?” segment and couldn’t stop laughing. I listened to the rest of the show and loved every second of it. Been hooked ever since.
  6. What keeps you listening to TJES? It’s funny, definitely makes the work day go by faster. It can be anything from motivational to hilarious to just plain stupid to absolutely beautiful. The fans are really a community, not just a bunch of fans. Jason does a great job weeding out the bullshit we all can get stuck in. It’s a great way to spend four hours of the day and always puts a smile on my face somehow.
  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? It’s been a good way to keep sane on stressful days. Joining in on all the “World’s Greatest” and other shit the show asks for participation on, all the EllisMania’s have been an amazing time. It does light a fire under my ass to get out and do more with myself. I was always a pretty lazy person, now I exercise and eat better and really do shit with my time. Life’s too short, y’know?
  8. Is there anything else you would like to share? CumTard is gonna get fucked up real bad July 14th. RED DRAGONS!!!

Dutch 中 (@Dutch_RDS)

  1. Where do you live? Highlands Ranch, CO
  2. What is your occupation? Director of Product Management and Sales Gateway Services Group
  3. Tell me a little about yourself. 32 actually 33 on July 6. Just celebrated 10 years of marriage. I have a 4 year old son named Jack. He was born premature at 29 weeks he was 2 lbs 11 oz and spent 42 days in the NICU. He is my world and couldn’t imagine life without him.
  4. How long have you listened to TJES? I have been a listener for 4 years.
  5. How did you discover TJES? I was listening to faction one day when TJES came on, I was hooked right away.
  6. What keeps you listening to TJES? I keep listening because Ellis is real. He’s some some fake wackity wack radio guy. Jason has always been open and honest about his life, his struggles, his triumphs and that is a big thing for me. I also keep listening because I love the #ellisfam
  7. Has the show changed or impacted you life in any way? How? Through the show I met the #ellisfam. A great group of people that have always been there for me. I have had a lot of ups and downs or last 4 years and the fam has always been there for me. Recently I was going through some shit, I felt alone and started cutting. A couple of fam members reached out to me and saved me from myself. Even my own fraternity which I love hasn’t been there for me like the fam has.  There are a couple of people I will always be grateful for.
  8. Is there anything else you would like to share? I am really looking forward to meeting everyone at EM8 and putting on a good show the fans! Chin down hands up!
