Plus, we asked EllisFam to submit their own questions and we would pick what we thought were the best ones. Afterall, we can’t ask the poor guy to answer absolutely everything. So let’s get right into it and find out what the main man himself has to say about these hard hitting questions everyone else is affraid to ask!
If Dana White gave you the match-making power for one UFC PPV, what 3 main fights would you want to happen? How about a season of TUF…coaches and weights?
I would want to see John Jones and Cain Velasquez, Rhonda Rousey versus cyborg, and Chuck Liddel versus Tito Ortiz.
For TUF I would wanna see Connor McGregor and Jose Aldo coach Heavyweights.
Out of all of the friends of the Ellis show (The numerous UFC fighters, Rogan, etc)… What’s your dream fight for Ellismania?
It would be Tully VS Mark McGrath, Chad Reed versus James Stewart, Carey Hart versus Ken block.
With Ellismania 10 approaching are you nervous that not everything will be properly produced or are you confident in the “in house” team you have organizing the event? What is your favorite and least favorite moments from any previous Ellismania?
I’m a little worried I always am, but this is the least worried I’ve been about Ellismania since the shows have been in Vegas.
On my least favorite moment is whenever Christian grabs the microphone or raw dog starts telling me his 400 pound girlfriend has been raped, or the person who’s been hired to run Ellis mania has no music or chairs for the musical chairs fight. There’s plenty of highlights but my favorite was me knocking out Gabe for the first time. The second one would be Tony Hawk coming to Ellis mania and it being so packed that he had to go out to the second-tier. I remember saying to him look what you have helped me make?? The crowd went crazy, it felt like I’d really done something. Other would be blindfolded dog collar fight at EllisMania 6 I think. The one with Tim Sylvia. At the end of it I just knew we did something special.
We can’t control the stuff that pops into our heads while dreaming. Have you ever woken up with a chubby from a dream about your ex-wife, Andrea?
that wasn’t a big thing with us really. Never was. Unfortunately always dreamed about everybody else. But now everyone’s happy.

that’s easy, fantasy factory for me instead of Rob Dyrdek’s ridiculousness. Boxing ring ramps Recording studio restaurant Gym racetrack…….
The show has evolved naturally both in tone and in personnel over the years. Do you ever look back fondly on things that pissed you off at the time because ultimately it was best for the show?
no. I’m way ahead in the future trying to appreciate the now.
If you could pick anyone to fill the third chair on the show permanently, who would it be and why?
Jude. Because he is that good at radio.
Aside from HotDog, who has been your favorite intern over the years?
assess Matt was a nice guy. Dan OD5. Bentley was nice too. Stupid tits had his moments.
You’ve said it before, but apparently not everyone heard and Twitter would kill us if we didn’t ask. What is your side of the story regarding Christian Hand?
I was gonna tell you guys the whole drama but I think it’s just stupid now. Sucks he had to talk a bunch of shit on me after we all agreed to quit the band. Hate when people lie about me to my listeners but I know what really happened and the people that know me know what really goes on in this game. These people are gonna show up from time to time. I’m just glad I have the tools now to see those guys coming. All the best to him

Have you (at least for the time being) given up on pitching TV ideas? Are there any TV show premises that have been shut down you can share with us? What was the dumbest one?
Not stopping. Still pitching. Pitching two Internet shows and one other TV show there just about the radio show really. Little life shit. I don’t want to do another TV show that will go after my radio show. It’s too much, I’ve got radio and Katie and the kids. Maybe race cars. Happy to say id do a TV show if it fit in my lifestyle.

NYA has been known to not only recap the show but the writers are critical at times of the show and voice honest opinions, good or bad. Have you ever seen or heard of something from NYA that has pissed you off?
I think you interviewed a guy that said he didn’t steal headphones or something. I can’t remember. I think it was some guy who took some unopened headphones from me but it turned out he was just borrowing them. Haha other then that you guys are sweet

My rope skills get me what I need for now. Busy with other stuff lately so not going that hard with that stuff still having fun though Think maybe have enough of it for now. Katie is a lot!

I have a plan! I’m starting that tiger shark wolf gym again. I’ve got all these onnit metal things in my fucking garage and Aubrey from onnit gave me the workout to help my affliction.
